The SCIENTIA IVRIDICA is a specialized magazine, founded on the initiative of a group of lawyers, which is published in Braga, uninterruptedly since 1951 , and in 2001 completed fifty years of publication. It is owned by the University of Minho since 1990 .
Having started to be published quarterly , the Journal went on to bimonthly in 1954 and their number still reflects this basis, although it is to be published quarterly since 2005 .
The activities of the Law School are regularly documented in the Legal Life section of the Journal SCIENTIA IVRIDICA .
The current Director of SCIENTIA IVRIDICA is Prof.ª Doutora Joana Aguiar e Silva.
